Strong House Dorm Reviews at Vassar

It was a great dorm to live in since it is only for women. It is cozy, clean, and nice. The dorm has four floors and different types of rooms. I lived in a double which was quite large and both me and my roommate managed to have personal spaces within our room.

I have had a very good experience in Strong. The bathrooms are the cleanest on campus and updated. The location is also great. It is in prime location to class buildings, the library, dining hall, and other locations.

room size could be better, some rooms have a single closet, some rooms are significantly bigger than others, roommate situations are still present under covid times, bathroom is clean but infested with roaches

The workers in the Strong House do their best to maintain the House and organize events for the students who live in Strong. The House is very safe, and has a fantastic location in the heart of campus, making it easy to access several of the most popular buildings. The bathrooms can get a bit messy because the girls living there will not clean up their hair in particular. They can also spill drinks in the hallway and make a mess around the trash cans. The girls also need to work on their volume problems, especially on the Wellness floor, bringing over guests, shouting, and singing.

I've had a mostly good experience living in the Strong House. The location of Strong is perfect, located in the center of the campus where you can quickly access the main buildings. The staff that maintain the building are all blessings, they have been so kind to me. The staff have been worked especially hard during COVID to keep the place clean but also to have programing to entertain and socialize the students. I live on the Wellness Floor, where there are supposed to be no boys, no substances, and it is supposed to be quieter and cleaner. Girls are constantly running across the hallway with no masks on, being very loud. The thin walls don't help the music blasting and impromptu karaoke. And the mess! In the bathroom, the girls leave their head hair on the shower walls, and the other hair on the shower floor. Our bathrooms are still some of the cleanest on campus. Despite the difficulties, I still think I'm living in the best dorm on campus.
