Hereford was great if you wanted to get away from Grounds and enjoy some tranquility. However, it was far away from everything and made getting to my 8:00am class difficult each week since the buses could be unpredictable. It's also stationed on a giant hill that is not fun to walk up on a hot day. I liked the open space that was around so students could study outside and set up hammocks. It also has one of the dining halls right in the middle of Hereford. It is also a prime location to get to Scott Stadium super quick on game days. Downside of the dorm is that there was only one kitchen for the entire building, which was on the ground floor. That was disheartening for me because I cook quite often and it was difficult to lug all my pots, pans, and ingredients up and down the stairs every time I wanted to cook.

Hereford has a good mixture of upper and lower-class students. The RAs are very nice. There is also the Hub in which anyone that is a part of Hereford can go to and study. They also offer free food very often, which is nice when you want to eat something other than the dining hall food.
