The Complex: Vollmer Hall Dorm Reviews at Wartburg

Vollmer was a very old building, it needs some renovations and improvement with heating. However, it is close to a lot of places on campus. Vollmer was very hot in the summer as the air circulation was poor, and there was no air conditioning, I got a fan for my room. If you want to live here it is probably one of the cheapest places to stay on campus.

The sizing of the room is nice and allows for lofted beds in order to have more room for storage. There is no air conditioning, but I found that the temperature wasn't really an issue after the first week or so on campus, and this also makes Vollmer a cheaper housing option than other dorms. The bathrooms are older and require frequent maintenance, but it really isn't too bad. Sometimes noise can be an issue and it's been difficult to get ahold of our R.A. Overall, I still think it is a good housing option.

It is one of the cheapest dorms on campus for first-years, but it is still a great place to live. It is close to the main part of campus, so you do not have to walk far outside to get where you need to go. Itβs not the fanciest housing, but is still a wonderful experience!
