Lincoln Hall Dorm Reviews at Washburn

I havent yet been there personally, but my brother has and it looks like a fun place to live. Me and my brother are going to be living together in the dorms and I think it is going to be a very fun time.

It is mostly quite and clean. I enjoy having bigger rooms. We have 3 two person rooms per dorm in Lincoln with a shared living room and bathroom. My favorite part is the high ceilings and lofted beds.

Lincoln Hall is amazing! Always clean and well kept. The front desk staff was awesome (as well as the RA's) and the janitors were so nice as well. Everyone there was always ready to great you with a smile which was very nice to have each day, especially after leaving home for the first time to go to college. I did live in the hall leading to the cafeteria though, which meant there was a lot of foot traffic and could get sort of noisy during the normal eating hours, but that wasn't a huge problem for me, just something I would warn others about in case they were a little more picky about noise. I would highly recommend Lincoln Hall to anyone going to Washburn. It has such a great atmosphere around it and made it really feel like a home away from home. Plus, I thought the rooms and bathrooms where great sizes and I loved having the extra "living room" space to share with my roommates in our suite. It is a little bit further front some of the buildings, but the campus is beautiful, so the walk isn't bad at all, and it's still close enough you can easily walk wherever you need to in about ten minutes. Great place all around!

I would describe Lincoln hall a a great experience to meet new friends and try to activities, it was also nice to be really close to the school and arena incase I wanted to go to a basketball game or volleyball game or any other sport events that were going on.

It's been good so far. Though the fire alarm seems to go off 3 times a month which gets annoying. Also if someone is moving furniture around or being loud people can hear it on different floors and through walls.

Lincoln Hall is a great place to call home when attending Washburn. Having the dining hall attached to the dorm makes it very convenient to get food, and the many common spaces make it easy to meet new friends. Overall, Lincoln is a great place to stay, and it felt like home to me in no time.
