Lyon Tower Dorm Reviews at West Virginia

it was always a fun time. Many memories were made on floor seven. I will forever cherish the times we had however it wasn’t up to date. The showers are extremely old along with the furnishings in the common areas and bedrooms.

Lyon is a very clean, somewhat antiquated dorm facility. I say antiquated because we still use metal keys to unlock our doors and the whole place smells elderly. The bathroom situation is very clean and only very seldom are there ashes in the toilets.

Many good memories. Definitely a college dorm meaning not the best quality. You get what you pay for. This was the place to hang! I will forever cherish lyon tower floor 7 and all the memories and friends I made. ?

The best part was the Lyon's Den (a mini grocery store) it has. The bathrooms were so-so, and the rooms were pretty good. The staff was great! They were really friendly and always making sure that whatever you needed was taken care of.

It is just a basic double dorm room where you share with a roommate and there is about 40 people on the floor. This tower is connected with three other towers in the building with a dining hall when you first enter the building.

The four towers at West Virginia University foster an amazing and unique freshman year college experience. Lyon tower is one out of four towers that all share the same lobby, dining hall, study rooms, ball rooms etc on the first floor. A lot of students biggest fear coming to college is being able to make friends when they get there. I think there is no better place to do this than at towers. There is always something going on, whether it be official school events, or other students in the halls, or basketball and tennis games outside the building. This is a lot of fun, and makes it extremely easy to make friends.

If you enjoy being closer to the turf field this is a good location. It puts you close to people but that helps you meet people. The dorms can tend to be noisy depending on the people who are on your floor.

Lyon Tower is a good place to stay at WVU. Being one of the four towers really doesn't let you feel alone. The location is a good distance from everything a student needs from the Crossing, the Rec center, and student health services. The staff are very helpful and courteous and willing to answer any question. The cleaning staff are very thorough with their cleaning but it doesn't last long due to students not being clean at times. Trying to sleep during the day can be tricky due to noises all around, especially during the weekends. The rooms are very spacious for both singles and doubles. Overall, Lyon is a good place to stay as a first-year student.

Lyon Tower has been a great place to live, there is the outdoor field right by, it is close to two parks, and the dining hall is downstairs. Furthermore, the people have been great and there are LLC's or living learning centers that have majors similar to yours.

The Lyon Tower has so far been filled with positive reviews. The tower has a floor that is meant to keep minorities more comfortable and is filled with lovely people. The staff here has been nothing but respectful and helpful not to mention the RA's here are very understanding and laid back.
