Northside Commons Dorm Reviews at YCP

It is a newer building with a lot of nice features. The rooms are spacious and have built in closets instead of a wardrobe. It is a nice and quiet place to live and it is kept very clean as well. I will miss the beautiful view from Northside Commons.

While slightly pricier than other dorms at York College of Pennsylvania, Northside commons and its new updated facilities has made me extremely comfortable and happy through its private bathrooms, clean facilities, vending machine options, large and ventilated dorms, and many more. It has made my experience at York College much more enjoyable. The only downside is that it is further away from the dining hall and main campus facilities than others, but it is only an 8 minute walk so it is more than worth it. Furthermore, they have shuttle services that allow you to get around campus easily.

Northside Commons is definitely the best dorm to stay at as a freshman at York College. It is the only freshman dorms with air conditioning which is so helpful. The bathrooms here are pod style which means there are rooms with a shower, toilet, and sink in them and a door that locks which is really nice for privacy. The laundry rooms are on the 3rd and 5th floor so there are lots of options. I loved living in northside and the people in the manor dorms always complain about how they wish they had AC. Northside is also the newest dorm.
