East Campus Dorm Reviews at BU

180 was my first ever college dorm and it was such a great community. There is so much more provided to you in the dorm than all the other on-campus dorms in the university. You have your own kitchen, common area, bathroom in your room, and a washer and dryer. All these are so much more convenient and are so worth the price. Although the walk might be longer than most on-campus dorms, it's honestly not as bad as some people describe it to be. Your experience in the community of the hall just depends on how involved you're willing to be because it does take more effort to meet people because east dorms are more private.

The east campus area is one of the best bang for your buck. The common area/kitchen area is great for when you don't want to go out on campus to eat. The rooms have more than enough space to hold everything you bring. you can personalize your room with whatever you can think of.

My time at East Campus 153 has been an absolute blessing to my overall college experience. The semiprivate, out-of-the-way, apartment-like environment was super cozy and really enabled me to connect so well with my fellow dormmates.

Great experience as a freshman. Liked the apartment like living. Really appreciated the private bath for each bedroom. The best was having a washer and dryer for each of the apartments. Would recommend for all athletes that want to share housing with their teammates.

East Campus 183 is a great building. It is a little bit of a walk from campus like the rest of East, but it is right across from the parking garage which makes the walk and parking easier. It is right by the woods in the back which is nice and it has a decent view of the mountains and main campus. The rooms are nice and clean. The only thing is sometimes there are insects in some of the rooms, but mostly it's not a problem. Additionally, the water is not very strong, but I think that's to be expected in a dorm. Would recommend this dorm for others.

Good quiet low key location - great for athletes! As a freshmen and new to LU I am happy to start off at East. Looking forward to my sophomore year, I chose East again. It is a bit of a walk to classes but not too bad.

East campus is a nice quiet place to live away from the business of main campus. It is best if you live with friends and pick a good roommate. The only thing I do not like about East campus buildings is the poor water pressure in the bathrooms. Although, the water pressure is pretty poor in every dorm on campus.

Great! Communal bathrooms are cleaned every day. Common areas are kept clean and provide a great place for students to interact at any time. Security guards can be found at the entrance at all hours, so safety is a priority.
