I always appreciate renovated spaces for college dormitories rather than new buildings, and the added history of the building was nice. I really loved the ambiance of the koi pond in the courtyard and the proximity to a natural setting. The bus was close as well, and that was a plus for groceries and shopping in town. One of my favorite experiences of living in Mudge was the random piano players in the game room, it added a little joy to my life to hear some music by fellow students. My hall also had a white-board wall and I enjoyed bonding with floormates by drawing on it. I think it is one of the farthest houses from center of campus, though, and it was important for me to add an additional five minutes to my commute to class in order to make the light on Forbes street. This wasn't terrible or a deal breaker, but was something I needed to account for. I have Mudge pride!
