While the Shorney dorm sizes are quite decent most of everything else is a mess. The walls are super thin so you can hear everything even when in your dorm including quiet conversations from the hallway outside. Additionally, the kitchen which is meant to be a common area was regularly disgusting. The sink would be clogged from food and filled to the brim with other people's dirty dishes. more

I think it was a great place to live for your freshman year as a freshman girl. It definitely had some bumps, but that's because it's an old building. I enjoyed living there for my freshman year. It was right in the middle of campus, which made it easy to go to class and to the student center. more

It's not under these names anymore but all the dorms need better upkeep and updates! All bathrooms are normally messy by the end of the cleaning cycle. My scan card isn't needed because all the doors are usually unlocked and so many more things! more

Hayes Hall

I very much enjoyed my time a Hayes hall I lived there all four years I attended OWU. The common room with adjoining bedrooms and bathroom was arguable the best set up on campus at the time I attended. I also appreciated having access to a kitchen so the roommates and I could cook real meals. The only downside was that it was a little dingy and dated. Move in day came with heavy scrubbing but there always seemed to be dust. more
