Everglades Hall

Absolutely fantastic! These dorms are extremely great for freshman. Everyone gets their own bedroom no sharing a room, only a foray. The rooms in Everglades Hall are either two bedroom singles or a single dorm. more

It was a good experience overall, I met some amazing people and everyone on my hall was so nice. It could use some improvements however, like more entertainment like more ping pong tables and microwaves to heat up our lunches. more

Biscayne Hall

The only issue i have so far living in Biscyane is sometimes it gets a little noisy past quiet hours. One time, there were people that sounded like they were having an entire conversation and it lasted well over 2 hours. Besides that, it has been chill. No serious issues. more

I am glad I have the opportunity to live in everglades, however, I did wish the RA would help out more in forcing the rules and not allowing people to scream at 3 am on video games on a Wednesday night. more

Palmetto Hall

I am glad that I choose FGCU as they offer your own private dorms. You only share bathrooms with your roommate and it is pretty great depending on who you get assigned. The RA's and the front desk are always helpful and friendly. more

Not great, there are nosise complaints constantly and a lot of th ecommon areas are not clean. There needs to be maintenance daily not weekly or every couple of days and the common areas that people use to study. more

Falcon Hall

As someone who has lived in Falcon hall it's actually quite amazing. These dorms managed to survive hurricane Ian which tells you how well and how structured these buildings are to stand a CAT5 hurricane. With that you cannot hear the people below or above you as someone who lives on the second. more

My experience was very mild. It did sound like the walls were creaking sometimes, but other than that there was no issues relating to noisiness. I never had an issues with any neighbors, and ultimately I enjoyed the experience. more
