Wyoming Hall Dorm Reviews at SUNY Geneseo

Wyoming Hall was quiet at times, but the weekends were absolutely insane if you lived below someone. This hall is supposed to have common courtesy hours and quiet hours, but the RAs lack to uphold this rule.

Living in Wyoming was the best experience! I personally think it had a really good location, the only issue sometimes was parking. But you are right next to a dining hall as well as off campus houses and pretty close to campus! Most of the rooms are a pretty good size and I loved how each quad had a kitchen as well as a study room. It is also cool because the international students live there so you get to meet a lot of cool people.

My experience have been nothing short of amazing. I’ve enjoyed my time staying in this residence hall. Everyone in the building is very welcoming and there is someone always willing to help out when you need it.

It was a very great residence hall to live in for my sophomore year. My time there was cut short due to the pandemic but I am grateful for the kind staff who would greet me each morning on my walk to class.

Wyoming or "wyo" as most students refer to it is overall a great place to stay on campus. The suite style design affords you more room than a typical freshman style dorm room. The hall also has multiple common areas right outside of the suite which is nice for studying and hanging out with friends. The one downside to Wyoming hall is that the rooms are smaller than other suite style residence halls on campus. Overall though, I would recommend this residence hall.
