Wright Hall

So far it hasn't been bad. The rooms are on the small side but tolerable. The bathrooms are not cleaned as often as I would hope and can get pretty dirty. The noise level stays pretty low and we the AC works great. more

Allyn Hall

I only lived in Allyn hall for one semester before swapping to a new dorm. The campus over booked so my floor had no lounge, the showers in the door were growing mold, and after complaining to maintenance they didn't clean them. Overall, the people were fun, but the actual hall was not enjoyable. more

Dunbar Hall

I will never forget it, it was a great college experience. I made friends for a lifetime. The dorms were very neat, and organized. The classes were close by, and the food served within my hall was pretty great. more

Koonce Hall

Koonce hall was a great experience. Very clean and the bathroom pods were always kept up nicely. We also have the Rosie's diner available for a late night snack as well as laundry and a gym. Definitely recommend! more

Fletcher Hall

I loved the location of Fletcher hall. I also loved the pod-style bathrooms; they were always clean! Fletcher hall is also a part of Eastway Center which has the best food. Boar's Head is also downstairs, which is a great place to grab a sandwich then watch TV in the lounge area nearby. more

Centennial Court A was a pretty decent experience for being in the middle of a pandemic. The staff is always friendly and the RA selection this year was perfect! I would recommend someone living there. You get your own bathrooms which is a nice addition! more

Stopher Hall

The rooms in Stopher Hall are bigger than any of the others on campus. You get your own private bathroom to share with your roommate. The staff is kind and it is only a seven minute walk to my classes. I have never had a problem with any of my neighbors with being too loud. The RA's on staff go above and beyond to build a sense of community in the building. more

Centennial Court E

Centennial is a great dorm to have you get your own bathroom and it’s not far from most classes. Everyone is nice and the common area are always clean. Rosie’s is just out side so I don’t have to walk far for food and the gym is in the same building so it’s great if I want a quick workout. more

Prentice Hall

My experience was what one would expect from their first stay in a college dorm room. Bathrooms were always a mess, things were broken left and right and neighbors were not courteous at times. My biggest problem however was my random roommate assignment. He has no sense of manners, cleanliness or courtesy for most of our first year at Kent. With that said, it really is down to one's own preference but overall I'd rate my dorm experience a 5/10. more

Manchester Hall

My experience at Manchester Hall was a great one! I lived on a co-ed floor and loved the socialization aspect. I always felt safe with the key card requirements to all entrances and enjoyed the residential staff! more

Centennial Court C

i love love loved living here. Centennial Court C is in a pretty convenient location and the staff was amazing. this dorm definitely worth the cost and I can’t imagine having lived anywhere else. not to mention the floor activities. if you wanted to be involved with your neighbors, you could! but if you prefer to be to yourself and are more introverted, CCC is perfect! more

Centennial Court D

Centennial Court D is a very nice dorm to live in on Kent State's Main Campus! all rooms have a private bathroom which is very convenient. The Hall staff and Maintenance staff are always super friendly and willing to help. more

Leebrick Hall

Leebrick Hall rooms are tiny, but they are private rooms, which is great. Also, the dorm is in a great location because it's near everything on campus. I'm at the end of the hall so it's fairly quiet in my room. Would recommend. more

Lake Hall

Lake Hall was an average dorm of average size. The only complaint I have is that when I lived there, they had no A/C but I've been told they put that in recently. I never felt unsafe, or too far from other friends, food options, or classes. more

McDowell Hall

I love having my own room, but the bathroom situation isn't ideal. I share a bathroom with four other students, and the layout doesn't make much sense to me. Personally, I'd prefer the pod setup. Other than that, this is the perfect dorm setup, in my opinion. more

Tri -Towers

Nice small little rooms. There are around 18ish rooms per floor with everyone sharing a hall of bathrooms and showers. It’s in a good area of campus where you can get most places pretty easily and it has some nice views of campus! more

Centennial Court B

My experience at CCB before COVID was amazing. We had our own private bathrooms that were very well taken care of by a wonderful cleaning lady. It is a combined honors and non-honors dorm, which makes for a wide range of students to interact with. My RA was incredible, too. more

Korb Hall

Being a member of the LGBTQ LLC in Korb was terrifying during the election. While not required by the hall itself, many people in Korb found it best to evacuate after there were threats to shoot up the hall upon Biden's victory. While it feels safer to be around other queer folks, being so visible is extremely dangerous. Nothing came of the threats, but we were still very afraid for a couple of weeks. Otherwise, the hall was fine. Nothing to note besides a few bad eggs, but that isn't the fault of Korb staff. more

Olson Hall

It was okay for freshman year. I didn't really connect with my assigned roommate. I'm looking forward to this coming year as most of my classes will be close to my dorm and more of the dining halls are going to be open post Covid. more
