Downs Hall Dorm Reviews at University of Kansas

My experience at Downs Hall was a pleasant one. Whenever I had a question or concern, the front desk was able to help me. I would recommend this residence hall because of how nice it looks, felt, and how friendly people there were.

Absolutely love it at Downs Hall. The food is good, the rooms are the best on campus and super close to Allen Fieldhouse for basketball games. With Covid we spend a lot of time in our room, so it's been nice to have the best dorm on campus.

My experience at Downs has been good. The rooms are really big, but you can hear everything through the walls. Especially your neighbors. The dining room has good food and the location is very convenient. I personally would not want to live in any other dorm. A lot of people choose between either Downs or Corbin - I am glad I chose Downs.

I live in a four person private room. Everything is kept clean and I have had no problems while living here. For me, the location is great because it is close to the gym. I'm not worried about making it to class because of the bus stop right in front of the hall.

My experience at Downs was great. I was on the KU cheerleading team so being walking distance to all practices and events was very helpful as it allowed me to not need a car. I suffered a very severe concussion my freshman year from cheerleading, but living in Downs provided a safe and quiet area to where I could recover.
