Hashinger Dorm Reviews at University of Kansas

Hashinger is an arts oriented hall on campus near Ms. E's, Self, and Ellsworth. There is a coffee shop and grill in the lower level. While staff keep the dorm clean, the residents are usually loud and the building itself is unsafe.

Met some of my best friends there. Good environment, everyone was friendly and we all hung out together instead of just our own friend groups. Solid experience and the food shop below is perfect for late night snacks.

I really enjoyed living at Hashinger! There are a lot of art and music students there, and there are practice rooms in the basement with pianos that I used a lot, plus two study rooms on every floor. The noise isnβt awful most of the time but people can get a bit noisy walking in the halls at night sometimes but honestly it wasnβt that bad. Also they do call it βHashβ for a reason so sometimes thereβs a certain strong smell in the hallways. Daisy Hill is an awesome location and since there are so many dorms there you can almost always catch a bus to class or walk if you want to.
