The Hill Dorm Reviews at Liberty

I lived at the Hill my freshman and sophomore year and loved it. It's in the center of campus, which made getting getting places very easy, especially getting to class because the main academic building is a 5 minute walk away. The community you build on this hall will last a lifetime. The hill is essentially a very long hallway with around 30 rooms with no common area. With there being no common area, you go from room to room to hangout with hallmates. If you ever want to go do something with people on the hall, you can just go from room to room down the hall, asking if anyone wants to get food or whatever it may be. By the time you reach the end of the hall, you'll have a group of about 10-15 people. The only downside of the hill is parking. You will have to park on the east side of campus which is about a 15 minute walk but don't let that discourage you from this amazing dorm.

It was very community based and I gained some good friendships during the year. I'm not extroverted enough for it to be completely for me, but I still had a lot of fun times there. It was great for location because it was down the sidewalk from the school of divinity where most of my classes were and near the prayer chapel which I also spent a lot of time in. The leaders were all very intentional and good with the community. It was a good experience for a freshman to get adjusted to the school.

It was a wonderful experience living at the Hill dormitory. It was close to everything which gave opportunity to make new friends, get to class on time, and did go hungry with all the food locations!!

The Hill has a great location and view on campus. Our Student leadership has also been very good here. the biggest complaint I have is the community bathrooms. They tend to get dirty very fast and make you not want to use them.

Not a bad place to live. Convenient location to main campus. If I had to choose again I would pick the Circle. Basically the same thing for even cheaper and better community. Great place if you're very social.

The halls are wonderful! You get to meet so many people and participate in a welcoming community! You are not just meeting people on your hall but from all the other dorms on the hill. It’s close to everything on campus which makes it even more amazing!

I love the Hill at Liberty! I love how people can go into the courtyard to socialize, do homework etc! I also don't mind the community bathrooms, they are always super clean and user friendly. Also it is a good way to meet people on your hall!

The H.I.L.L (Hurd Integrated Living and Learning) is a great place to live at on campus. It is a comfortable place to live, consistently cleaned by great staff, and offers many different living options. There are singles, quads, and 10 person suites. The staff are extremely friendly and take their time to clean your suite to the fullest. I've lived here in a single as well as in a quad with some of my friends and I've enjoyed living in the H.I.L.L the entire time. It is offered for students when they become sophomores.

Although all of my ratings were fairly negative, this is probably one of the best housing options at HSU. The bathrooms are uncomfortable and usually dirty, the kitchen is usually also a gigantic, unusable mess. The rooms are great if you live in a single dorm and that is about it. The RAs are the highlight of Redwood dorms.

My experience at the Hill has been great! There is a great community/family aspect to it that you don’t get at other dorms. Also, the location is spectacular! I am really close to the academic circle where all of my classes are. Also, don’t worry about the community bathrooms. They are cleaned regularly and are always in tip top shape. The Hill is the best dorm to be in, hands down!

The Hill is a great place for incoming freshman because it is close to classes and the food hall. Freshman are also able to easily meet new people and make friends with the close-knit community. The only caviet would probably be the space because some rooms have three people while others have two, depending on the boarding plan that's is chosen.

The Hill is the best place to live at LU. Although the community bathrooms may not be the most desirable, the community found there is unbeatable. It is also the closest residence hall(s) to Demoss, the ROT, and North. The Hill also boasts the largest rooms on campus! For community and convenience sake, the Hill is the place to be!

It’s so much fun, honestly the best place on campus to be. Close to the center of campus, best location of all dorms. Community is so great, and it is fun to have a brother dorm. When it’s warm out, we’ll all be outside playing four square, and when it’s rainy, we’ll be sliding down the hill in the mud.

I absolutely love staying on the Hill. It has the best community I could have hoped for as an incoming student. I have made amazing friends that I know will be my friends for a lifetime. I'm so glad that I got to stay on the Hill this year and for the community that I've found while living there.

The Hill is a great location to live at because everything is close to it since it is in the center of campus. There is great community in my hall as well as with the other dorms of the Hill when you go out tot he Courtyard.

It has been AMAZING. The community on the hill is definitely the best part. My roommates and I spend a lot of time with friends out in the courtyard space between all the dorm buildings. We enjoy studying out there as well as socializing.

For social butterflies The Hill is a great place however, if you are a solitary person or are really quiet this dorm is not for you. There are hall events which are a great way to get to know everyone on the hall as well as game nights hosted by bro/sis dorms.
