First Year Residence Hall North Dorm Reviews at Marshall

My experience in this dorm was great! The dorms and bathrooms are a decent sharing size for two people and it doesn’t feel too cramped. I have barely any complaints about the building. The only complaint is loudness at night, but of course that only depends on who is living there, awake at the time, or where your dorm is located in the building. When a resident had an issue, the staff took care of it very well and when there were maintenance issues in the building, everything was communicated well and taken care of quickly. The staff alone made living in the building enjoyable because they all seem very interested and pleased to be working there. The desk assistants are also very helpful and friendly!

Freshmen North was a nice building. The rooms are a good size and have a private bathroom. The staff (especially the cleaning staff) are super nice and do a great job! My only complaint is that the people next door to me were extremely loud and when multiple people filed complaints nothing really came of it. But I would recommend these dorms as well as freshmen south’s.
