The cheapest dorms at mizzou, expecting the lowest quality is given. However, the place was a pig-sty. Staff had abandoned the halls generations of students ago and it showed. They clean up the lobby when it's time to show the dorms to prospective students, but never otherwise.

It was very noisy and maintenance did not happen with any urgency. The elevators would repeatedly break down as well as laundry room appliances. In addition, rooms were tiny and had very little space.

I actually really enjoyed my time spent living in Hudson. I was part of the Freshman Interest Group (FIG) for my major so it was really nice to live around people I also had many classes with. I expected it to be loud and dirty and all around just a bad experience however, that was certainly not the case. It was fairly quite most of the time and I never had any issues getting distracted or disrupted by noise while I was studying or sleeping. The only thing I did not like at first was my room was really close to the major street right next the the building (College Ave) and at first the traffic constantly going through there was annoying but I got used to it pretty quickly and by the end of the year I hardly noticed it.
