Gilchrist Hall Dorm Reviews at MSU

I love the location of Gilchrist, we are within walking distance of the city, and I am very close to all my classes. The only complaint I have is no air conditioning and we are on the top floor so we get the heat the worst. This makes sleeping at night really hard and most mornings I wake up sweating

I really like the midivil historical architectural aspect of the buildings and the way they were constructed. I also really like how the community bathrooms are set up and how close they are in proximity to our room. The bathrooms and showers being so close makes our lives easier and a lot happier! I also really like how friendly everyone is and how easy people are to talk to in the Gilchrist. Overall, for the first week of being in Gilchrist, I really like the atmosphere and friendly people.

I liked living in Gilchrist hall. It was nearby my classes in the woody north neighborhood, and it was a quiet dorm that wasn't too busy. Not a lot of traffic of people coming in and out. The furniture was ok, and rooms were clean. It was renovated fairly recently. The only downside would be the bathrooms.
