Lyon Hall Complex Dorm Reviews at MTSU

My experience at Lyon Hall was a decent experience. I went there and my roommate was peaceful, respectful, and the only time we ever talked was when we needed something or something was going on around the building. I stayed on the first floor at Lyon hall and on the floor were two bathrooms. It was one bathroom and the other bathroom had many stalls and showers in it. I was the type of guy who liked having my own space since I didn’t have my own room. I would go to where there is an individual space. Also from time to time, I had a couple of friends who lived in Lyon with me and we would go to the basement where the TV was and we would have Bible studies, watch movies and NBA games. That was like one of the best things about the dorm that I was in, and the RA on my floor communicated with us every once in a while to do things but as far as I know we didn’t really hang out because everybody was doing their own thing. Then I had a friend on my floor who liked the same team as I did and that was cool too.

Lyon Hall Complex is the Honors Dorm on campus and so traditionally it's residences are more mature and respectful. I've been there for two semesters and I loved it because the staff was nice and always welcoming. Not to mention that everyday the bathrooms were cleaned around 10:30am while everyone is at class. This Dorm also has the largest room and closet space on campus as well as having the most reliable air conditioning.

pretty nice dorms nothing to complain about. The rooms are a decent size and they all come with everything I need to be successful such as a desk a nice comfy bed and two pretty spacious closets. Overall, I would recommend this dorm to any college student.
