Cultural Living Center Dorm Reviews at NSU

Although it's not spoken about enough, the Cultural Living Center, or CLC, is a really great living space for freshmen entering Nova Southeastern University for the first time. In my opinion, from living in a CLC Quad (4 people, 2 bathrooms, 2 rooms) it's one of the cheaper options to live in on campus, but the quality is really great. I definitely believe you get more "bang! for your buck" living in CLC. The courtyard is really nice to sit in and socialize with your friends and thanks to the friendly Resident Assistant's or RA's as we call them, students will be kept updated on all the fun events at the school and there are so many events that happen within CLC, and the RA's take the time to get to know everyone, so you'll always have someone to turn to. Overall, my CLC experience has been amazing, I have no complaints so far.

Overall okay. Room was clean if you have clean room-mates. Common areas could be cleaner. I liked having to only share a bathroom with my room-mate and very much enjoyed having an apartment style dorm to live in.

I really enjoyed living at Cultural Living Center, it gave me the experience of living on campus while living in an apartment-style dorm. The building was nice compared to other dorms on campus at NSU.

Living in the Cultural Living Center at Nova Southeastern University turned out to be better than I initially expected. This building is located in a convenient spot, close to the common areas on campus and not a far walk to where classes take place. It has its own parking spaces right next to the building so you don't need to walk far to get inside. It has an open space in the middle with beautiful plants and trees containing tables and benches where you can sit and study. The rooms are spacious with a kitchen and living area, along with 2 private bathroom and 2 bedrooms. The staff and RA's that work in this building are always kind and helpful with any problems one might have. The only downside to this building is the laundry room. Nobody enjoys doing laundry in general, but doing it here is dreadful. The laundry room is located right above the dumpster, and the door is always left open, leaving odors lingering inside. There are dead bugs splattered across the white walls, and spiders hanging from the ceilings. Not to mention clothes left on top of machines and floors which grow mold from the constant heat and moisture. When opening the washing machines there is always a moldy smell and sometimes bugs inside, you must clean inside the machines before using them. Overall I would recommend living in CLC, but the laundry rooms definitely need some improvement and better cleaning.

Staying in cultural living center makes you feel like your at a home away from home dorm. Its very quiet and clean. Also, has amazing air conditioning. Another thing is the maintenance service is amazing and work around you.

It has been the greatest experience of my life and they have taken every precaution when dealing with the COVID-19 epidemic. This dorm comes furnished and gives you the privacy you want. Including a private bedroom and bathroom.
