For the time I was there it was great. I did not have any issues at all. It was very safe and I was able to come and go as I pleased. There was even a time when I was locked out and was able to get back in more

Zink-Allen Hall

The neighborhood Zink-Allen Hall resides in is very loud, especially in the evening and night time which can be quite annoying when trying to study or sleep. The building is always clean because of the amazing maintenance staff we have. The Zink-Allen Hall Resident Hall Committee is always having events to have students involved with each other. The only issue I have found with Zink Hall is the size of the laundry room and the people in the hall that use the laundry room, such as leaving wet clothes out, moving laundry when it is done, or opening the machine doors which pauses the laundry cycle. My Community Mentor is a nice, quiet guy who is willing to help us however he can. more

Peterson-Friend Hall

My time at Peterson-friend Hall was great. However, there was a lack of responsibility by the CM and how they operated during the day. They also disregarded the cleanliness or usage of the common area with things being damaged or smelled. more

For the most part the hall is quiet during the weekends not many people are in the dorms so it tends to be even quieter. Whenever there is problem it is usually fixed in a timely manner and everyone respects other people. There is not many people that could be in this dorm which is very nice for cleanliness. more

Stinchcomb Hall

I stayed here as a freshman and as far as dorms go it is pretty nice, you get your own room, a living area, kitchen area, and personal bathroom with a shower so you don't have to leave your unit. The beds are full sized so no twins and furniture is provided! more

West Commons

I had a great experience in West Commons. The bathrooms were extremely clean for being communal. The kitchen on the first floor was not the cleanest but I honestly didn’t use it that much! It is right next to the Colvin and dining options which is so convenient. Cheaper option and it was great! more

I enjoy living here. The exterior doors close very loudly, but that is my biggest complaint about the building. The staff is very kind and accepting of my disability. I like the privacy of having my own room and bathroom while still getting to live with my best friend. more

North University Commons

Im still living in it but its clean and you meet new people. The showers are good. Theres a kitchen but you need to bring your own pots and pans to cook. They have a printer if you need it. Nice sitting areas//hangout spots on every floor. more

University Commons South

University Commons South is a very warm dorm. It's a very cozy dorm and it is honestly pretty roomy. My roommate and i will admit that compared to some other dorms it is pretty nice and has a great dining hall. Our dorm is a little way from some classes but definitely still walkable and nothing to really complain about. Our CM does a great job keeping us updated on all events and always lets us know when maintenance will be coming or if we need to know about any important dates. more

Great place to stay! Very clean! The dorm area is quiet. Plenty of space for each roommate. It seems to be well taken care of & maintained. Have stayed in some other dorms & this is the cleanest by far. more

Very homey, great environment for incoming freshman. It is a LLP (Living Learning Program) through Oklahoma State for Agriculture students. The rooms are all fairly large, clean, and they come with full size beds. more

University Commons North

I was a Community Mentor, or RA, in North Commons for a year and a half. I recently resigned due to the poor management of the building. The higher ups in Residential Life did not care about what was happening in the building. The supervisor smoked in the building and nothing was done. COVID-19 restrictions created a depressing environment because I was not able to connect with my residents and they did not know each other. The facilities are very nice but it does not feel like "home" because the department is too busy worrying about their rules than student's and staff's mental health. more

It was nice, I had my own room. I shared a bathroom with my roommate, so it was private. I had a little living room and part of a kitchen. The laundry room was not the nicest, but it was doable. The common areas where gross in my opinion. more

This dorm is great as you can choose three roommates and there are two private bathrooms. Central air conditioning is a plus too. It's very close to the fraternities and sororities. The one downside it the cafe is not very close. more

Wentz is a fun place, I will be a new resident there but I have friends who stay there and I did visit them and people in Wentz are friendly but you do sometimes have to be the person to strike up conversation first which is okay. more
