Hamilton Dorm Reviews at Penn State

In Hamilton, many races have lived and been living in dormitories since the first grade. First, it is very close to Waring Commons, so it is very easy and suitable for feeling safe when you go to eat food, receive packages, and visit school staff. However, in terms of daily life, each room does not have an air conditioning system, so it is very hot in summer, so students buy and use large fans themselves, and in winter, they cannot use the heater at will, the appropriate temperature must be lowered, and the heater can be used only at a fixed time. The bathroom doesn't matter much, but the number of bathrooms is insufficient compared to the number of students in the dormitory, so you have to wait every time you go to wash up, and the broken bathroom is still fixed even after the semester has passed. At the beginning of the first semester, very good staff and very good management were maintained, but you can see that as time goes by, the management becomes immature. However, Hamilton's location is much better than any other dormitory, so it's close to downtown and to the gym, and it's very close and walkable to various classrooms, so I think it's the best dormitory in terms of location and in terms of life.

My experience at Hamilton Hall was good in some ways and bad in some other ways. To start, it was close to all my classes because it was on the West side of campus which is where the science and math buildings are so that was nice! They had good food options, the grill is the best in my opinion. However the dorms aren't air conditioned and the heaters are all broken, so it is really a hit or miss when you live there.

Hamilton Hall was my first ever dorm in my college experience and I was very happy with the environment present there, it was well maintained and friendly and it was in a very nice location on campus with access to a lot of key areas
