Packer Hall Dorm Reviews at Penn State

I had a decent experience at Packer Hall traditional dorms. The location was great because it was near the commons and all other freshman were located there. However, the dorms were very old fashioned and lacked cleanliness. My RA was amazing and very attentive to the students. She was super sweet in our group chat and tried her best to form a relationship with the students.

The shower stalls were GROSS. The bathrooms aren't private and overall is just awful. No air conditioning. The space is pretty small. If you plan on attending Penn State Main, shoot for renovated. My roommate and I are moving into a renovated dorm for the second semester since the shower and toilets are private and we have AC/ a commons/ a kitchen.
