Bumble at The Hive Dorm Reviews at SCAD

It was an ok place to live. location was good and always left a place to be comfortable. The dining halls close to it however were the worst food experiences I've ever had in my entire life. absolutely disgusting, inedible even.

I stayed at the Hive during my freshman year at SCAD. The most difficult part is sharing smaller spaces with 3 other people. A lot of your experience can depend on the cleanliness and courtesy of your roommates. My roommates were neither of those but I still enjoyed the dorm itself and the proximity to other students.

I stayed there for one of their summer programs and it really solidified my choice to be attending in the fall of this year. I enjoyed the private bathrooms and suite-style dorms. The dorms were bright and had a lot of space and the beds they provide were not too uncomfortable. They had really high ceilings which made the rooms feel bigger and all the rooms had a small living room. I just wish the common areas were bigger and had more privacy.

It was very peaceful and I enjoyed my time there. It could have been better, but it could have been worse. The roommates I had were so great, so they definitely elevated the experience. I would recommend!
