I transferred to South as a junior. It was nice to have so much space to myself, however, maintenance was lacking in a few areas. It is an old building, so a lot of that is to be expected, but I felt it could have been kept up a little better.

I had a bad experience particularly with housing my freshman year. I went through two dorms and two roommates. My 2nd roommate reported me to student conduct for something I did not do because she claimed I was a bad roommate.

Delta 4 is a great dorm for students seeking affordable on-campus housing. It is similar to a motel and does not have a hall or shared bathrooms that residents to walk to. Everything you need is in your room (Ac unit, Shower, Tub, humidifier, cable, internet( initially for wired connections), a fridge, furniture, and a sink). If anything happens and you need assistance, you can reach out to housing, and they will quickly come out and be there to help you with your problem. Some perks to living here: -Laundry rooms are free to use and take less than 30 seconds to get to. -The location of Delta 4 is close to the dining hall, football stadium, help desk, and a late-night deli. About a 10-minute walk away from the main campus. -Noise is also low, and the location of the delta dorms is also pretty safe. Cons: -I wish they'd add more lights around the dorms. -They'll be nights where you'll probably be too lazy to walk to the dining hall. -Delta is one of the older dorm halls and isn't the "prettiest" dorm to live in. -Often, I do not know when housing will come to assist me with a problem. It could be really early in the morning or when I am in class. If a student is not in the room, housing normally leaves something on the door to let the residents know someone was there. I mainly like Delta 4 because it has many available private rooms, it's affordable, and it is close to the main campus and everything else I need. PS. The picture used isn't my own since I'm away from my dorm room right now, but this is the exact layout of my current dorm room. I've lived in four different Delta's and the layout might change based upon which delta you live in, if you have a roommate, or if you live in the middle or end of the dorm.
