Epsilon Community Dorm Reviews at South Alabama

Overall, I had a satisfactory experience. The only thing I didn't appreciate was there were a number of students who stunk up the surrounding rooms with marijuana. It was also extremely expensive, so live off-campus or take online if the price is too much.

The dorm rooms are weirdly shaped and it is hard to fit the beds in the spots where they are supposed to go. If people are walking in the hallways then you can hear them, their keys, or most noises they make. The staff are always kind and willing to help you with whatever.

I have had no real issues with the Epsilon Community. It's a mechanical engineering and honors dorm, so the people that were in the same hall as I was were liked minded, so it was not very hard to find help when you needed it for your classes. The dorms were not bad and are fully furnished, which helps a lot and clarifies the essentials that you need to bring. Overall, I enjoyed my experience.

Epsilon is the lower quality dorms on campus my bathroom for instance has had numerous problems. I called maintenance and the next morning one of the maintenance guys arrived. The issue was our fan wasn't ventilating any of the hot air from the shower. The service guy simply told us that the epsilon dorms just have poor quality ducts causing mold and other things to form in the bathroom.

Living at Epsilon is a greta experience, the people and staff are extremely friendly. It is in walking distance to the Dining Hall, and has two close stops to the bus station. The shower however are quite small, so might have to get a shower stand to hold products.

Epsilon is definitely not the most prestigious dorm on campus. Are dorms remind me of a cement jail cell. The room is covered with cement bricks that don’t do jack for sound proof. I’m not generally picky so I can overlook most of the stuff.

Epsilon was nice, shared a bathroom with one other person. Laundry room was in a convenient location, and study rooms were nice. There were two floors with four halls, and each key only opened your hall floor for safety measures. You had to swipe into the building after a certain time for safety precautions which was nice.
