McFadden Hall Dorm Reviews at Texas A&M

McFadden Hall, while a bit of a pricier hall, has plentiful space for you and your roommate. The mirrors are big and everything in it is functional. Having two sets of closets for each person is also very beneficial and the space makes it easier to keep tidy. McFadden Hall also has a nice kitchen area with a table where you and a group can sit. It also has a lounge on the second floor that is available to residents. The custodial staff at McFadden are also very friendly and I say hello to them whenever I pass by. Though I have not actively accessed these rooms much because of COVID, it is very beneficial to have and was the reason I chose to live there for my freshman year!

While the common areas weren't always the best, the actual room itself was actually good. A cleaning lady named Maria came by every wednesday to clean our private bathroom. She was a really nice lady and it was really nice to meet her. Overall it was a great first year experience.

It was a clean quiet place to study, with a private bathroom in each room. I liked how the girls and guys floors were separated. Unfortunately, there weren't many common areas to hang out with fellow classmates.

I love McFadden and all the people are very friendly! One can easily make friends with anyone you meet whether it is in the kitchen, the laundry room, or just passing by! The rooms are clean and spacious, and when you only have one other roommate, it emulates what it is like to live in an apartment. Similarly, it is also very close to the Northgate district which is home to many restaurants and night life.
