Woodlawn Commons Dorm Reviews at University of Chicago

While the dorm is brand new, the walls between the singles and doubles can be quite thin, I would hear my neighbor's alarm almost every morning. But the bathroom experience is quite nice, maintenance comes by to clean the bathrooms once a day which is quite nice, and any maintenance requests are typically fulfilled very quickly. The dorm staff is on average very friendly. The laundry room could be larger and that is the only space that maintenance is an issue with many of the washers and dryers taking a while to be fixed.

Overall pleasant living experience. Although the architecture is reminiscent of an actual prison, Woodlawn is clean, sorta convenient, and new. I liked my dorm although having to use physical metal keys was annoying.
