Muir is honestly the best college at UCSD. All the time Iβve been around the dorms I feel in touch with nature. I love the scenery that is everywhere around Muir. It is also very well placed in middle of campus.

It is an unforgettable experience as I never thought I would see these many individuals on campus. Apart from this the room is rather small as I am in a triple but other than that the room is not terrible.

I love it. As a transfer student, I have heard so many wonderful things about Muir and their undergraduate apartments. Although they aren't the prettiest being made out of only concrete, it is really wonderful to be there.

I Loved Living in Muir Tioga Hall. Pines was newly re-opened and delicious. Close to central campus and biggest lecture halls (except Warren). Great Housing Activities and the way they create community with the 'houses' every two floors helps you get to know folks.

When I first got there I thought it looked old and almost like a prison but when I got inside the buildings it was all clean and well taken care of. I was able to meet friends quickly since the set up the the dorms has the common area set up perfectly for a small group of students to always hang out at and since itβs placed together you always see someone there. Though in the rooms I felt like they could have been a little bigger, I know itβs more spacious than other colleges, so I was grateful I got in there. A huge benefit also was the view I got which was of the ocean, so every morning I could get up and watch the sun rise from the ocean. Another benefit was that I feel like people were really friendly compare to other colleges since there was always something to do. There was common activities spread out throughout the quarters such as going hiking with the floor, surfing, camping ect. Overall I did enjoy my time there

Muir is the considered to center of the UCSD campus. As one of the older colleges, you can expect the building to be pretty old. If you are lucky enough to be on the 7th floor or higher you might get an ocean view.
