Independence Hall West Dorm Reviews at Delaware

With controversy, I loved living on North Campus! Indy West was honestly so nice. I lived in a single suite, so I did have my own room and then shared a bathroom with my suitemate. It was air-conditioned and the bathrooms were good!

I really liked living on North Campus my freshman year so I decided to live on North Campus again. I thought the layout of the dorms were nice, however, throughout the semester I felt unsafe to be there sometimes. My clothes were stolen from the laundry room and I wasn't the only person who had that happen to them. The halls constantly smelled like wet dog. There was only one elevator on one side of the building so if you lived on any floor above 3 it was a hassle unloading and packing up your dorm room at the beginning and end of the semester. In the past, some floors ended up getting flooded which damaged a lot of peoples belongings. Overall, wouldn't recommend living here but if you have to I would shoot for the third floor. It won't be as much of a hassle and you most likely won't have to deal with flooding.
