Jewell Hall Dorm Reviews at UK

Jewell Hall was not the best campus housing to live at, although it was a populated part of campus it was not the cleanliness. It was also not the safest place to live in campus do ymto it being closer to downtown

Jewell Hall was at the perfect location as a business student. It would be uncomfortable to walk past the students as they sat in the common areas bevause you would have to walk inbetween them as they spoke but that was very minor

Jewell Hall was a very nice dorm! Felt like an apartment and it was very spacious. Only bad thing, it was very easy for people to come in and out at anytime and could feel a little unsafe. All in all, it was a nice place in a convenient spot.

The location of Jewell Hall in my opinion is perfect because it is right next to the student center and alot of other restaurants and stores. Everyone is also really nice and helpful. I think Jewell Hall is a perfect location for freshman students to have access to tons more resources.

Moving away to college during the Corona Virus pandemic was not easy for me but Jewell Hall felt like home. However, I do think my first year of college would’ve been more enjoyable if I didn’t live in in UK housing. The location was awesome, super close to campus and the student center but there was a lot of mold in not only my dorm but in my friends dorm as well and it felt a little controlling.

Although it is loud at times within the dorm, the people are nice and the dorm itself is very clean. All of the appliances work well and the comfort within the rooms is pretty solid. It is very close to my classes and has plenty of food options all around it as well. Overall, I have really enjoyed my experience there and would do it again if needed.

I decided to move into Jewell Hall, from Woodland Glen 3, for my sophomore year. I decided on Jewell hall since it was closer to the student center and many classroom buildings. I would recommend staying in Jewell Hall or at least being on this side of campus due to the closeness food options as well as many class rooms. However, this side of campus is a long walk from the Johnson Center and the outdoor basketball and tennis courts, so if you are someone who enjoys being close to these things I wouldn't recommend Jewell Hall.

I had a great experience at Jewell Hall in which everything was perfect and suited for new and returning students. Staff were always very helpful and the common areas were overall very clean and kept.

My experience was pretty good. Everyone was super nice, and I had a really great view of the campus from my room. Where my dorm was located it was easy for me to get around and find new things to do. I would definitely recommend living in Jewell hall!

I would say that Jewell Hall is a nice area to live because it is very close to a lot of resources. the people that work there are really nice and will help you out if need be. My RA is really helpful and chill and overall a nice guy.

I like the jewell hall. The building is pretty quiet unless you’re on the 3rd floor. The dorm rooms itself could probably be the best thing you could ask for. The only bad thing about them is the shower in the bathroom doesn’t have a tub. If the shower had a tub. That would be the best thing ever. I only say we need a tub because, I play sports and sometimes I wanna soak my body.
