Antrim-Froggatt-McCalmont Hall Dorm Reviews at UW-Stout

This will be my second year living in this hall, and so far I have loved my experience overall. The staff is always really nice and the floor itself is typically pretty clean. Cleanliness is more of a top priority. I also love how close my dorm is to all of my classes. Overall, I have had a pleasant experience living at this dorm, and I would recommend it to anyone planning on living in the dorms.

From what I have seen so far being at Stout, McCalmont is one of the nicest dorm halls on south campus. I enjoy the set up of the dorm rooms, although the desks could be a little bigger. The elevator and AC are really nice things to have.

I had a good experience in this dorm. Sometimes areas such as bathrooms, laundry room, and stairwells got a bit messy, but nothing terrible. The dorms stayed pretty quiet most of the time. It is close to the dining hall and MSC.

I’ve had such a great experience and it’s super close to all my classes which I like. I also like the environment of this building since it is a newer renovated dorm style and I like the control climate factor of the room that I have.

I think AFM is one of the older dorm buildings. Everything is nice. It’s obviously small like any other college dorm. That can be expected. One thing that bothers me is that it doesn’t have an elevator like some other buildings. If I were to be injured nothing is wheelchair accessible and going up to the fourth floor is a lot on crutches.

Its a college dorm. the ceilings are popcorn the lighting in the showers is abysmal and the rooms are tiny. compared to last year this one is better its much quieter in the halls than my old dorm. the school is in the process of remodling all their dorms so it could improve in the next few years
