Douglas Keen Hall Dorm Reviews at WKU

Douglas Keen is a under kept dormitory. It has mold and the temperature varies along with unclean bathrooms. I would never recommend anyone to live there. The faculty are also not the most pleasant. There are much better places to live on campus

Douglass Keen is a co-ed dorm and has community bathrooms. The bathrooms were fine sometimes but then other times disgusting. There were roaches in the kitchen and showers. DK had nice closets with shelves for ample storage

The halls are often very loud at night and people above and below are always making noise. Trash sometimes is on the hallway floor for nearly a week at the time. Many of the common areas are closed right now. The bathrooms are often filled with water all over the floor. A stall door on our floor has no been broken for weeks. The hall is located all the way at the edge of campus and its at the bottom of a hill. The building is a safe place. Some staff members come across as very rude and unwelcoming.

My experience at Douglas Keen hall was not bad. It was better than some other people’s experiences in other dorms. However, kitchen on each floor was ridiculously small and the bathroom were not the cleanest. This resulted in an uncomfortable feeling every time I used them.
