The building is VERY run down. The lack of air condition was such a problem my freshman year that the third floor reached 110 degrees and window units were required to be put in temporarily. The admin sucks with listening to dorm complaints but the staff was SO sweet and did everything possible to make that building livable.

While these dorms are very old, they have not been updated recently. There is no air conditioning and the bathrooms are dark and dated. There is constant maintenance to be completed, and the workers do their best. The location is convenient to the Commons Dining Hall and Kaplan Stadium, but far from academic buildings.

I love the Green and Gold Village. I think that be mainly to the fact that I have amazing people to enjoy it with. Yes, the village is old and out dated, but it's livable. I feel comfortable in the dorms, not enough to walk barefoot, but I don't even do that in my own home. The dorms are a nice size. My roommate and I have no problems with space.
