I really enjoyed olympia. Both years i was in the dorms i had a private bathroom and really enjoyed the AC and location as I was further away from chaos when I wanted to relax. Everything is within walking distance on the campus. Biggest downfall was all the stairs

Olympia dorms are pretty nice. They are more on the newer side and have AC which is nice after having to walk stairs to get to Olympia on a hot sunny day! The only downside of Olympia are the stairs. Itβs like a 6 minute walk to south side cafe. Overall Olympia seems clean and friendly.

Olympia was a fun place to live at for my sophomore year. I met some great people and a lifelong friend living at Olympia. I wouldn't mind living in Olympia again and I would recommend Olympia to anyone who is willing to climb the hill!

Olympia is one of the newer dorms and very clean. Both genders live here. Half the rooms share a bathroom with the room adjacent. The other half use a common bathroom on each floor. The ones that share have the same gender in both rooms since the doors do not lock to get to the restroom. Thereβs a common area with a tv and kitchen on every hall. There is an elevator as well.

Overall, one of the quietest, prettiest and cleanest dorms on campus. Olympia also has some of the best views and is close to the cheapest student parking lot. The only issue with Olympia is that it is located at the very top of a hill.

Quiet, state of the art facility. Only draw back I had was that the building, being a LEED platinum structure, had many automated systems for energy conservation which included some type of actuating motor in the ceiling of my room that was constantly adjusting 24-hours a day, and drove me nuts when I was trying to sleep. May not be an issue in all rooms.

One of the best parts of Olympia are the great views from the top floors. It is more isolated than other dorms due to its location on top of a hill. As a result, it is generally quieter and a very relaxing environment. The one downside is you have to walk up and down a steep flight of stairs to get to the building from campus.
